#### 18PA Application for a public weighbridge licence (1) A person may make an application to the Secretary for a public weighbridge licence for a single weighbridge. (2) 2 or more persons who carry on business together as partners may make an application jointly for a public weighbridge licence for a single weighbridge. (3) The application: (a) must be in the form approved by the Secretary; and (b) must be accompanied by the application fee prescribed for the purposes of this paragraph; and (c) must be accompanied by such other material as is prescribed. (4) The Secretary may, by notice in writing to an applicant, request the applicant to provide information or documents of the kind specified in the notice to the Secretary within a specified period of not less than 14 days. (5) The Secretary may refuse the application if the notice is not complied with.
