18MWController entitled to be present during search

#### 18MW Controller entitled to be present during search (1) If: (a) business premises are being searched; or (b) a warrant in relation to residential premises is being executed; the controller of the premises, or another person who apparently represents the controller is, if present at the premises, entitled to observe the search being conducted. (2) If a business vehicle is being inspected, the controller of the vehicle, or another person who apparently represents the controller, is, if present, entitled to observe the inspection being conducted. (3) The right to observe the search or inspection being conducted ceases if the person impedes the search or inspection. (4) This section does not prevent 2 or more areas of the premises or vehicle being searched or inspected at the same time.
