18LK Effect of this Division on criminal proceedings
This Division does not: (a) require an infringement notice to be given in relation to an alleged contravention of a provision mentioned in section 18LF; or (b) affect the liability of a person to have criminal proceedings brought against the person for an alleged contravention of a provision mentioned in that section; or (c) limit a court’s discretion to determine the amount of a penalty to be imposed on a person who is found in criminal proceedings to have contravened a provision mentioned in that section.
