#### 18C Delegation by the Secretary (1) The Secretary may delegate all or any of his or her functions or powers under this Act or the regulations to: (a) an SES employee or acting SES employee in the Department; or (b) the Chief Metrologist; or (c) an APS employee within the National Measurement Institute who has the expertise appropriate to the function or power delegated. (2) The delegation must be in writing. (3) In exercising functions or powers under a delegation, the delegate must comply with any directions of the Secretary.
