#### 18A Chief Metrologist (1) There is to be a Chief Metrologist, who is to be engaged under the Public Service Act 1999. (2) The Chief Metrologist has the functions conferred on him or her under this Act and the regulations. (3) The fact that the Chief Metrologist has the functions conferred on him or her under this Act and the regulations does not limit the power of the Commonwealth to charge fees for things done in performing those functions.
