Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This Determination names the specific existing and proposed roads and railways that make up the National Land Transport Network, grouped into urban and non‑urban corridors across major cities and interstate routes.

It affects state and territory transport agencies, ports, and freight and passenger operators because being listed governs eligibility for Commonwealth funding and federal planning priorities, thereby shaping who pays for upgrades, how projects are coordinated across jurisdictions, and which corridors receive strategic investment.
