#### 87 Authorisation to use information for certain purposes (1) An agency that obtains protected information under subsection 85(1) may make a record of, or disclose or otherwise use, the information for the purposes referred to in that subsection. > Note: This subsection constitutes an authorisation for the purposes of other laws, such as paragraph 6.2(b) of Australian Privacy Principle 6. (2) A person who obtains protected information from an agency under subsection (1), or from another person under this subsection, may make a record of, or disclose or otherwise use, the information for the purposes referred to in subsection 85(1). > Note: This subsection constitutes an authorisation for the purposes of other laws, such as paragraph 6.2(b) of Australian Privacy Principle 6.
