#### 60AM Director‑General of the CDC may impose conditions
(1) This section applies to an entity if the entity gives the Director‑General of the CDC a temporary handling report for a particular sample of a security‑sensitive biological agent.
(2) The Director‑General of the CDC may, by writing, impose conditions on the handling of the sample by the entity.
(3) The Director‑General of the CDC must not impose a condition under subsection (2) unless the Director‑General is satisfied that it is reasonably necessary to do so, having regard to:
(a) the security risks posed by the handling of the security‑sensitive biological agent by the entity; and
(b) any other matters the Director‑General considers relevant.
(4) An instrument under subsection (2) is not a legislative instrument.
