19 Prescriptions not to direct repeated supplies for visitors to Australia

(1) An authorised prescriber for an HSD pharmaceutical benefit must not write a prescription directing a repeated supply of an HSD pharmaceutical benefit to a person who is a visitor to Australia even if the person is, in accordance with section 7 of the Health Insurance Act 1973, to be treated as an eligible person within the meaning of that Act. (2) This section applies despite section 85A of the Act.
