9 Application of Act and instruments in relation to chemotherapy prescriptions and special arrangement supplies of doses of chemotherapy drugs

(1) Subject to this instrument, a reference in Part VII of the Act, or regulations or other instruments made for the purposes of that Part, to a prescription for the supply of a pharmaceutical benefit is taken to include a reference to a chemotherapy prescription. (2) Subject to this instrument, a reference in Part VII of the Act, or regulations and other instruments made for the purposes of that Part, to a supply of a pharmaceutical benefit is taken to include a special arrangement supply of a dose of a chemotherapy drug.
