3Objects of Act

#### 3 Objects of Act The objects of this Act are: (a) to make provision for the implementation of national environment protection measures in respect of certain activities carried on by or on behalf of the Commonwealth and Commonwealth authorities; and (b) to protect, restore and enhance the quality of the environment in Australia, having regard to the need to maintain ecologically sustainable development; and (c) to ensure that the community has access to relevant and meaningful information about pollution.
