23 Annual report of council (1) The council must, as soon as practicable after 30 September in each year, prepare a report of its operations during the year ended on the preceding 30 June. (2) A report prepared under subsection (1) must include— (a) a copy of the report the council receives under section 22 and copies of the reports for the year that it receives from the Commonwealth, other Territory and State Ministers under corresponding legislation; and Assessment and reporting on implementation and effectiveness of Division 3.3 (b) the council’s overall assessment of the implementation and effectiveness of national environment protection measures having regard to all of the reports referred to in paragraph (a). (3) A copy of the report is to be presented to the Legislative Assembly not more than 7 sitting days after the council has formally adopted the report.
