Tasmania act
This instrument makes the National Energy Retail Law part of Tasmanian law from 1 July 2012, bringing the national retail energy rules into play for energy retailers, distributors and consumers in Tasmania (s 1). The full national text is located in the Schedule to South Australia’s Act, while Tasmania’s own Act records any local modifications; businesses regulated by the imported law bear the compliance obligations created by that importation (s 2).
