sec.16 Application of Law and Rules to energy
This Law and the Rules apply to— the sale and supply to customers of 1 or more of the following: electricity; natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas; and a retailer to the extent that the retailer sells 1 or more of the following: electricity; natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas; and a distributor to the extent that the distributor supplies 1 or more of the following: electricity; natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas. References in this Law and the Rules to energy are to be construed accordingly. Nothing in this section affects the application of provisions of this Law or the Rules to persons who are neither retailers nor distributors. s 16 amd 2023 No. 36 (SA) s 77 (sec.16-ssec.1) This Law and the Rules apply to— the sale and supply to customers of 1 or more of the following: electricity; natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas; and a retailer to the extent that the retailer sells 1 or more of the following: electricity; natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas; and a distributor to the extent that the distributor supplies 1 or more of the following: electricity; natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas. (sec.16-ssec.2) References in this Law and the Rules to energy are to be construed accordingly. - (iii) 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas; and
- (c) a distributor to the extent that the distributor supplies 1 or more of the following: (i) electricity; (ii) natural gas or natural gas equivalents, or both; (iii) 1 or more types of prescribed covered gas.
