sec.135 AER RoLR Guidelines
The AER must develop, make and maintain AER RoLR Guidelines in accordance with the retail consultation procedure. The guidelines must— specify the circumstances in which the appointment of more than one designated RoLR for a RoLR event may occur; and specify the manner of determining the allocation of the designated RoLRs to particular customers or classes of customers; and specify how compliance with the requirements of section 148A (3) will be assessed; and provide for any other matter that the AER considers necessary in the circumstances. The guidelines may (without limitation) make different provision for the failure of large retailers, small retailers and retailers that are default RoLRs. The manner of determining the allocation of designated RoLRs referred to in subsection (2) must involve the use of meter identifiers alone or the use of a combination of meter identifiers and other means acceptable to AEMO, and must be determined by the AER in consultation with AEMO. The guidelines may (without limitation)— specify the form of and information to be included in a RoLR register EoI; and specify the form of and information to be included in an application for a RoLR cost recovery scheme; and provide for any other matter the AER considers necessary with respect to the RoLR scheme. The AER may amend the guidelines in accordance with the retail consultation procedure. s 135 amd 2025 No. 61 (SA) s 5 (sec.135-ssec.1) The AER must develop, make and maintain AER RoLR Guidelines in accordance with the retail consultation procedure.
