sec.22 Modification of the application of the Rules— Act , s 12

This section and schedule 5 modify the National Energy Retail Rules under section 12 of the Act . The National Energy Retail Rules apply to each of the following entities subject to the modifications set out in the provisions mentioned for the entity— for a distributor for electricity— schedule 5 , part 2 ; for an exempt seller of electricity— schedule 5 , part 3 ; for a retailer for electricity— schedule 5 , part 3 ; for a retailer for electricity offering a standard retail contract (card-operated meters)— schedule 5 , part 4 ; for a distributor for electricity offering a standard connection contract (card-operated meters)— schedule 5 , part 4 . This section and schedule 5 are declared to be modification regulations for section 12 (5) of the Act .
