#### 23 Exemption for small generating systems 23 Exemption for small generating systems (cf 2013 reg cl 17) > A person is exempted from the National Law in relation to the sale or supply of electricity if— > > > (a) the electricity is generated by one or more generating systems owned or controlled by the person, and > > > (b) the generating system or systems supply electricity to a transmission or distribution system through a single connection point, or an electrically common point, at a rate of 30 megawatts or less, and > > > (c) the distribution system (if any) that conveys the electricity is owned or controlled by a distributor that holds a distributor’s licence under the [Electricity Supply Act 1995](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1995-094) or that is exempted from the requirement to hold such a licence.
