33U Interest on unpaid REZ scheme fees (1) A REZ scheme authority holder who does not a pay a REZ scheme fee by the date the fee is due to be paid (the ***due date***) is liable to pay interest to VicGrid at the applicable rate, calculated on a daily basis, starting on the day after the due date and ending on the day the REZ scheme fee is paid. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), the applicable rate is the rate fixed for the time being under section 2 of the **Penalty Interest Rates Act 1983**. S. 33V inserted by No. 38/2025 s. 33.
