33C Grid impact authority issued subject to conditions S. 33C(1) amended by No. 9/2026 s. 19(1). (1) A grid impact authority issued on the granting of an application made under section 33A(1) has effect subject to the following conditions— (a) the grid impact authority holder must not operate a generating system, integrated resource system or facility to which the grid impact authority they hold relates in a way that will have the effect of substantially constraining the output of electricity generated, or planned to be generated, by eligible generating systems or eligible integrated resource systems connected to the declared transmission system within a renewable energy zone; (b) the grid impact authority holder must comply with any requirement on the holder under an approved consultation and engagement plan. S. 33C(1A) inserted by No. 9/2026 s. 19(2). (1A) A grid impact authority issued on the granting of an application made under section 33A(1A) has effect subject to the condition that the grid impact authority holder must comply with any requirement on the holder under an approved consultation and engagement plan. (2) A grid impact authority also has effect subject to— (a) any conditions that are prescribed; and (b) any conditions determined by VicGrid.
