#### 22 NDIS Practice Standards—requirements for government providers (1) To be registered as a registered NDIS provider to provide any class of supports, an applicant covered by subsection (3) must be assessed by an approved quality auditor as meeting the standards specified in Schedule 1 using certification. (2) To remain registered as a registered NDIS provider to provide any class of supports, a provider covered by subsection (3) must comply with the standards specified in Schedule 1. (3) The applicants and providers covered by this subsection are as follows: (a) the Commonwealth; (b) an authority of the Commonwealth; (c) a State or Territory; (d) an authority of a State or Territory; (e) a local government authority. (4) This section applies to an applicant or provider in addition to section 20.
