33 Inspection of books and audit information‑gathering powers—evidence of authority
If: (a) an ASIC member or ASIC staff member produces a document issued by ASIC; and (b) the document states that the person is authorised by ASIC under section 268 of the Act; the document is evidence of: (c) the authority of the person to require other persons to produce books or give information under subsection 268(1); and (d) any limitation on that authority that is specified in the document under that subsection.
