#### 105 Explanation about rights and obligations of consumer lessees (1) For subsection 175(1) of the Code, a statement must: (a) be in writing; and (b) be in accordance with Form 17. (2) The statement may be in the form of a separate document or a part of the consumer lease document. > Note: Section 175 of the Code requires a lessor under a consumer lease to give a lessee a statement in the form required by the regulations explaining the lessee’s rights and obligations. > Note: The statement must be given within 14 days after entering into the lease.
