22 Exception for disclosure to person who provided the information
Section 18 does not apply to a person if: (a) the person obtains protected information from another person; and (b) the person discloses that information to the other person.
Note: A defendant bears an evidential burden in relation to the matters in this section (see subsection 13.3(3) of the Criminal Code).
