#### 195 Recommendations about grants payments (1) A grant must not be specified under subsection 194(2) unless the Education Minister has recommended the specification of the grant. (2) The Education Minister must not make a recommendation under subsection (1) in relation to a grant unless the EIF Advisory Board has advised under paragraph 171(1)(a) that the grant satisfies the relevant EIF evaluation criteria. (3) In deciding whether to make a recommendation under subsection (1) in relation to a grant, the Education Minister must have regard to: (a) advice about the grant that was given to the Education Minister by the EIF Advisory Board Australia under paragraph 171(1)(a); and (b) such other matters (if any) as the Education Minister considers relevant.
