86 Qualifications and experience

(1) The Minister must appoint the following as members: (a) a person who represents the System Operator; (b) a person who represents the data custodian; (c) a person who is an Aboriginal person or a Torres Strait Islander. (2) A person (including a person appointed in accordance with subsection (1)) is not eligible for appointment as a member of the Data Governance Board unless the person has skills or experience in, or knowledge of, one or more of the following fields: (a) population health and epidemiology; (b) medical or health research; (c) health services delivery; (d) technology; (e) data science; (f) data governance; (g) privacy; (h) consumer advocacy.
