New South Wales regulation
This Regulation starts on 31 December 2022 and formally links itself to the Museums of History NSW Act 2022 and the Interpretation Act 1987. It provides a transitional rule so people who were members of the State Archives and Records Authority Board immediately before an amendment to the State Records Act 1998 remain members despite that amendment. Those members stay in office until either their appointed term ends or their office becomes vacant. The change preserves membership continuity and clarifies timing for appointments.
