Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation cancels (repeals) outdated defence manufacturing rules from the 1930s.

Specifically, it scraps the Munitions Supply Regulations made in 1936 and 1937. These older rules governed how munitions (weapons and ammunition) were supplied, likely created in the lead-up to World War II or during the war period.

Who it affects:

Anyone still formally subject to the 1936–1937 munitions regulations (primarily government defence contractors and suppliers)
Defence production officials

Why it matters:

It cleans up the law books by removing obsolete wartime regulations that are no longer needed in 1956
It simplifies compliance for defence suppliers who no longer need to follow these specific 20-year-old rules
