5 Pollution-reducing activities
The following are taken to be pollution-reducing activities for the purposes of this Act:
(a) the extraction of copper, iron or aluminium from acid drainage;
(b) the reduction of the acidity of acid drainage;
(c) [Section 5 Amended by No. 76 of 2007, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jul 2008] any other activity involving acid drainage declared by the Minister, on the advice of the Director, Environment Protection Authority, to be a pollution-reducing activity.
