8 Registration of motor vehicles and trailers Subject to this Act, the Registrar: (a) must register, and from time to time renew the registration of, a motor vehicle or trailer in respect of which the requirements of Schedule 4 and the Standards are complied with; and (b) may register, and from time to time renew the registration of, a motor vehicle or trailer on such conditions as the Registrar thinks fit.
