7 Registrar, Deputy Registrar and other officers (1) The Minister may appoint a person to be the Registrar of Motor Vehicles. (2) Subject to the directions of the Minister, the Registrar may appoint such Deputy Registrars, inspectors and other officers as the Registrar considers necessary for carrying out this Act. (4) Subject to the directions of the Minister, a Deputy Registrar has the powers and functions of the Registrar that the Registrar determines.
