33TWithdrawal of suspension notice

33T Withdrawal of suspension notice (1) The Registrar must withdraw a suspension notice if it later appears that the notice: (a) was issued in error; or Motor Vehicles Act 1949 51 (b) would not have issued, or would have specified a shorter suspension period but for taking into account demerit points since deleted. (2) A notice of withdrawal may be served in the same manner as a notice of suspension. (3) The withdrawal of a suspension notice does not prevent the issue of a fresh notice: (a) specifying an amended suspension period (taking into account any period of suspension that had already run under the original notice); or (b) taking into account demerit points that had been deleted but which were later re-instated.
