106 Driver of Defence Force vehicle The driver of a motor vehicle belonging to the Commonwealth and appropriated to the use of any part of the Defence Force shall, if he is a member of and is wearing a uniform of that part of the Defence Force, and if he is driving the motor vehicle in the performance of his duty and in pursuance of a permit issued to him by the authorities of that part of the Defence Force, be deemed to be licensed under this Act to drive the motor vehicle, and any reference in this Act to a licence shall, unless the contrary intention appears, include a reference to the permit.
