#### 53 Disposal of vehicles where approval refused (1) If the Minister refuses to grant a RAW approval, the Minister may give a written direction to the applicant to dispose of any road vehicle imported for the purpose of the application in the manner, and within the reasonable time, specified in the direction. (2) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person is subject to a direction given under subregulation (1); and (b) the person engages in conduct; and (c) the person’s conduct contravenes the direction. Penalty: 10 penalty units. (3) In paragraph (2)(a), strict liability applies to the physical element of circumstance, that the direction was given under subregulation (1). > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code. (4) In subregulation (2): > engage in conduct means: (a) do an act; or (b) omit to perform an act.
