25 Competitor to comply with directions—the Act, s 17
(1) A police officer may direct a person not to race or compete in an event at a race meeting.
(2) The direction may be given if the police officer considers it to be necessary for the safety of—
(a) the public, or
(b) a competitor in the race or event.
(3) The person to whom the direction is given must comply with the direction.
Maximum penalty—5 penalty units.
