45 Retention of dealers’ notices

A motor dealer who produces a dealer’s notice must—

(a) keep a copy of the notice for at least 6 years after the sale of the motor vehicle to which the notice relates, and

(b) if required to do so by an authorised officer—produce the copy of the notice, in an accessible and readable format, for inspection by the officer.

Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
