34 Hard copy records

(1) A record kept in hard copy must be—

(a) stored with related records, and

(b) named and categorised in an orderly way.

(2) The record must—

(a) be legible, and

(b) be on white paper of a size not less than standard A4, and

(c) contain no erasures or tears, and

(d) not be defaced or otherwise mutilated.

(3) This section does not prohibit matter in the record from being altered by deleting particulars in a way that leaves the deleted particulars decipherable.
