#### 6 Motor vehicle repairers 6 Motor vehicle repairers > > (1) In this Act, motor vehicle repairer means a person who carries on the business of carrying out repair work on motor vehicles. > > > (2) In this Act, repair work means work of a class or classes prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this section. > > > (3) A person is not a motor vehicle repairer if the person carries out repair work only in the course of employment with another person or on the person’s own motor vehicle. > > > (4) This Act does not apply to any part of the business of a motor vehicle repairer that involves repairs that are not repair work.
