#### 35 Surrender of licences 35 Surrender of licences > > (1) A licence holder may surrender the licence by giving it to the Secretary with a notice in writing that the licence is surrendered. > > > (2) If a licence that is to be surrendered has been lost or destroyed, it is sufficient for this section if the notice in writing sets out that fact. > > > (3) The surrender of a licence by the licence holder after the issue of a show cause notice under Division 2 of Part 3 does not affect the taking of any disciplinary action by the Secretary under that Division. For that purpose, the licence is taken not to have been surrendered.
