#### 150 Purposes for which powers of authorised officer may be exercised 150 Purposes for which powers of authorised officer may be exercised > An authorised officer may exercise the powers conferred by this Division for any of the following purposes— > > > (a) ascertaining whether the provisions of this Act or the regulations are being complied with or have been contravened, > > > (b) ascertaining whether the provisions of the [Road Transport Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-018), Part 4.5 or 4.5A are being complied with or have been contravened, > > > (c) investigating a complaint made under this Act, > > > (d) obtaining evidence, records or information in relation to a matter that constitutes or may constitute a contravention of a provision referred to in paragraph (a) or (b). > > **s 150:** Am 2024 No 53, Sch 1.9\[2\].
