116 Conferral of jurisdiction on courts
> The following courts have jurisdiction to make a rescission order in relation to the sale of a motor vehicle—
>
> > (a) the Local Court in the exercise of its jurisdiction under Part 3 of the [Local Court Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-093), if the cash price for which the motor vehicle was sold does not exceed the jurisdictional limit of the Local Court when sitting in its General Division within the meaning of that Act,
>
> > (b) the District Court, if the cash price for which the motor vehicle was sold does not exceed the amount for the time being specified in section 44 (1) (a) of the [District Court Act 1973](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1973-009),
>
> > (c) the Supreme Court.
