60 Resignation and termination
(1) A member of the Committee may, by notice in writing signed by the member and delivered to the Governor in Council, resign his or her office.
(2) If a member of the Committee becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his or her creditors, makes an assignment of his or her remuneration for their benefit or is convicted of an offence punishable by imprisonment for twelve months or more, the Governor in Council must remove the member from office.
(3) The Governor in Council may remove a member of the Committee from office if, in the opinion of the Governor in Council—
(a) the member is unable, by reason of physical or mental illness, to perform the duties of the office; or
(b) the member is incompetent; or
(c) the member has misbehaved.
