29C Permission to continue to hold licence despite criminal act of partner or director S. 29C(1) amended by No. 8/2003 s. 68(1). (1) This section applies if a licensee is a partnership or a body corporate and a partner or a director of the licensee is convicted or found guilty of a serious offence (whether or not a conviction was recorded). (2) The licensee may apply to the Authority for permission to continue to hold its licence. S. 29C(2A) inserted by No. 8/2003 s. 68(2). (2A) An application under this section must be in the form approved by the Authority and contain any information and be accompanied by any documents required by the Authority. S. 29C(2B) inserted by No. 8/2003 s. 68(2). (b) require the applicant to provide any further information that the Authority thinks fit in the manner required by the Authority; S. 29C(2C) inserted by No. 8/2003 s. 68(2). (2C) The Authority may refuse to consider the application if the applicant does not provide the further information required, or his or her consent for the Authority to obtain that information, within a reasonable time after the requirement is made. (3) The Authority may give its permission if it is satisfied that it is not contrary to the public interest for it to do so. S. 29D inserted by No. 74/1996 s. 15.
