New South Wales regulation
This regulation repeals and replaces the 2020 Motor Accidents (Lifetime Care and Support) Regulation, starts on publication, and preserves any acts, entitlements or arrangements that existed immediately before repeal. Mechanically it authorises appointed directors of the Insurance & Care NSW (ICNSW) Board as a class of “authorised persons” under the Act (s4) and recognises the ACT’s Lifetime Care and Support (Catastrophic Injuries) Act 2014 as an ‘other care and support scheme’ (s5). It does not itself set new payment or eligibility rules.
