#### 26 Effect of assessment 26 Effect of assessment > > (1) The Authority’s assessment of the treatment and care needs of a participant is final and binding for the purposes of this Act and any proceedings under this Act. > > > (2) The Authority is to revise its assessment to make any changes that may be necessary to give effect to any determination by an assessor or Review Panel of a dispute about those treatment and care needs. > > > (3) The Authority’s assessment of the treatment and care needs of a participant supersedes any earlier assessment by the Authority of those needs.
