#### 17 Non-attendance or cancellation of appointment 17 Non-attendance or cancellation of appointment > > (1) This clause applies if the President schedules an appointment for a medical assessment under Part 3.4 of the Act and the claimant, without reasonable excuse— > > > > > (a) fails to attend the appointment, or > > > > > (b) cancels the appointment within 72 hours of the scheduled time. > > > (2) In that case, the Authority may recover from the claimant all or part of the costs reasonably incurred by the President as a consequence of the non-attendance or cancellation. > > **cl 17:** Am 2020 (744), Sch 2\[9\].
