45 Special requirements relating to Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines relating to impairment
> > (1) This section applies to Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines that relate to the assessment of the degree of permanent impairment of an injured person as a result of an injury caused by a motor accident.

> > (2) Any such Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines are to be issued within 3 months after the commencement of this Act.

> > (3) Any such Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines may adopt the provisions of another publication only as in force at a time before the issue of the guidelines.

> > (4) Section 40 (Notice of statutory rules to be tabled) and section 41 (Disallowance of statutory rules) of the [Interpretation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-015) apply to any such Motor Accidents Medical Guidelines.
