4C Permanent impairment (1) The question whether an impairment or combination of impairments is permanent and, if so, the extent of the permanent impairment is to be determined by the Commission. (2) The determination is to be made: (a) in accordance with the edition of the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment prescribed by regulation as modified by regulation; and (b) on the advice of a medical practitioner.
