179 No entitlement to funeral benefits—death of foreign national outside Australia (b) the person is a foreign national; and (c) the person’s death happens outside Australia.

Defined benefits—funeral benefits Part 2.8 (2) The person who has paid, or is liable to pay, the funeral expenses is not entitled to funeral benefits in relation to the person’s death.
