#### 12 Mortgages payable on demand 12 Mortgages payable on demand (cf Act No 48, 1930, s 7) > Where a mortgage for a specific amount provides for the payment of the principal sum on demand, and a demand had not at the commencement of the [Moratorium Act 1930](/view/pdf/asmade/act-1930-48), been made, the principal sum shall for the purpose only of this Part of this Act be deemed to be payable immediately after the commencement of the first-mentioned Act.
