sec.233 Elected persons who are not electable persons
This section applies if a person elected as chairperson, secretary or treasurer, or another member of the executive committee of a body corporate, immediately before the commencement is not an electable person for the body corporate. On the commencement, the person vacates the person’s office. Section 186(3) to (11) applies in relation to the vacancy. In this section— electable person , for a body corporate, see section 166C. s 233 ins 2022 No. 28 s 45 (sec.233-ssec.1) This section applies if a person elected as chairperson, secretary or treasurer, or another member of the executive committee of a body corporate, immediately before the commencement is not an electable person for the body corporate.
